Nokia's Bluetooth stereo headsets, such as the BH-604 and BH-501, are a little uninspiring which may be why the company is hosting the Music Almighty Headset Competition, a design contest that asks users to give the BH-501, BH-503, BH-903 and BH-604 a funky makeover for a chance to see them come to life.

So far, the gallery is littered with quirky design entries like the ones pictured here from Moto Design and Pink Little G, but the good news is the public gets to choose which ones end up on the final top 10 list, which will then be whittled down to five by a panel of experts in the design and music industry. Those five winners will then see their creations go into production, before being showcased as a collection in Nokia's flagship stores.

The competition will run until the end of December, so at least vote for the ones you do like before something like this ends up in stores.

This isn't the first time a company hosts a design competition. HP and MTV held a global design contest last year, and now the winning design can be found at your local Best Buy store.
