Those of you who worry about things like electromagnetic fields should check
out the
Shinju Binchotan Bracelets. Now I've seen
wraps, suits, and briefs lined with threads said to block out electro-smog,
but I've never heard of wooden beads that emanate positive chi to dispel
harmful EMF.
The folks over at Coolhunting found this smooth looking bracelet made of Binchotan (white coal made from oak) that can protect you against electromagnetic waves given off by modern technology such as mobile phones, computers, and appliances, according to the site. Each bead has tiny purifying pores and fine lines that help it absorb those harmful waves in the air to keep your mind and body healthy and balanced.
Soft of...Coal has a great explanation of what Binchotan can do, but how much EMF it absorbs and for how long is still not very clear. Granted, it's probably cheaper to buy a $60 bracelet that blocks EMF than a pair of special undies or suit to get the job done, but since the site doesn't really tell me how I'm going to continue taking my chances.
