Finally, an iPhone case that's more than a pretty shell. Incase announced it will be launching the Power Slider case for the iPhone on November 28, 2008. Aside from the sleek exterior, the Power Slider extends the iPhone's battery life and allows you to sync and charge it while it's still in the case.

Power Slider gives the iPhone 3G up to 5 hours of extra talk time (10 hours if you have an iPhone 2G), 26 extra hours of audio playback, and 7 hours of video playback. The back of the case has 5 LED indicator lights that tell you how much juice your phone has left. It appears the iPhone drains power from the Power Slider first keeping the phone's battery fully charged at all times. The device is compatible with all USB charging ports that provide 5V at 1A output.

The Power Slider will retail for $100 when it hits the Apple Store and Best Buy Mobile later this month.

I've seen this as Best Buy and really like it. The only downside is that the extra bulk means that the normal IPhone cases will not work with the Slider attached.
