Energizer is going green next year by launching the Energizer Rechargeable
Solar Charger. This curious device will launch at CES, so details are still
a bit hazy. Nevertheless, Good
Clean Tech got a couple of good images, and details regarding the pocket-size
solar powered battery charger to be available next summer.
Apparently, the Energizer Rechargeable Solar Charger will convert sunlight into power to provide extra juice for your camera, iPod, and GPS devices. It will feature a USB-out port to do this, and it will be weatherproof to withstand the elements which should be good when you go camping. On cloudy days, you can charge this device by plugging it into a wall outlet. Like I said, it should be available next summer for the retail price of $50, and will include a pair of Energizer Rechargeable batteries. Hopefully, we'll get more details about this charger at CES.
