The WEP 420 headset was showcased for the first time at the CeBit tradeshow in Germany this past week, and so far the elegant headset has been turning heads everywhere. The shiny WEP 420 was seen sporting a sliding cover that hides all its controls, as well as block static to increase sound quality. The included cradle pictured here was designed to blend into any home decor, which is a nice touch considering most cradles, well, look like cradles. Style snobs will be scrambling to get their hands on the new Samsung Bluetooth Headset designed by Bang and Olufsen once it becomes available later this month.

Meanwhile, Europe and Asia will be getting a slightly different model called the Mini Bluetooth Headset WEP 500, which curiously sounds like Mototola's MiniBlue H5 headset--well, here's to wishful thinking anyway. The press release says the new Samsung WEP 500 "prides itself on an innovative design of round shapes and easy-to-use features." No pictures have been released yet, but I can't wait to see what it looks like. That version will be released in during the second quarter of 2007 in Europe and Asia.

What do you think of the WEP 400 headset? Cool or overrated?
