Jenna Fisher Gets Naked on Wired

How do you sell more magazines? Easy, just feature racy pictures of naked celebrities on the cover. GeekSugar pointed me to an awesomely scandalous cover you should start seeing in stores soon. WIRED has officially jumped on the "semi-naked" celebrity cover bandwagon, joining the ranks of Vogue and Playboy, with their latest issue currently setting a million tongues-a-wagging on the blogosphere.

What makes this project even more unseemly is the two-part transparent cover featuring a sexed up Pam from "The Office" in a tight business suit, over a mirror image of a naked Pam wearing nothing but a sign. Turn the clear acetate cover over, and peek-a-boo, there's a glowing, well-tanned Pam looking pretty naked.

What kind of project could've possibly brought a naked Pam and Wired together, you ask?  Underwire explains that WIRED's April issue is about radical transparency, a notion that the next model of business success is laying your company bare to the world...blah, blah, blah.

Let's face it. Tech magazines face an uncertain future and need all the extra attention they can get these days. As far as Jenna goes, Buzz Sugar says this is not the first time Ms. Fisher poses in the buff for a cover. She apparently also stripped down to her birthday suit for Jane Magazine as part of a fundraiser for children's charities.

What do you think? Was this a smart move on Wired's part?
