i only use my phone for emergency`s &no one has my #. i like peace &quiet.
My cellphone is my phone - and sometimes I hear it ringing - about 4 or 5 seconds before it actually rings. Never heard it ring when it doesnt though. And my ringtone is probably pretty unique (at least in the US - probably hear it in Asia on the streets)
Looking forward to dumping the cell phone now that I'm finally settled from the move. Land lines might be old fashioned but I like not having to use this over priced gadget, all I want of a phone is to make and receive calls nothing else.
i always think my phone is going off more so when i am waiting on someone to call or text me though,
This is weird but i might post a video about this on you tube by the 31 of october look for hi266
This is so true i hear my cell phone ringing.....and i chesck it but its not.
Wow thats scary. Its happened to me before
What about the other way around? I have a cell phone, and feel I can't live without one. But I feel anxious every single time the phone rings. Even when I can see that it's one of my friends, or family. I guess they call that old-fashioned "anxiety."
Yes that sounds very familiar, not only with cellphones ringing or vibrating, but also with video games some times I hear that noise Mario makes when he collects coins or when the nuke alarm goes off on command and conquer.

I'm glad I usually only have my cell phone on when I'm using it. I can't take calls at work, and my family knows not to call me. I use my cell phone as a tool. I don't think I'm addicted yet.
