no . . . you are screwed . . . never buy first generation stuff from apple . . . unless you have an expendable income . . . first gen adopters typically are beta-testers for apple . . .
i'm psyched about the 3G feature, the increase in capacity and the stereo bluetooth and the GPS feature, making it a complete handhenld device, i just hope it all pushes through, one question though how will the transfer of personal data, including sim data from the version 1 iphone be moved to the version 2 iphone? i'm a little hazy on this part
Apple has changed not only the phone market (even in how companies work with cell phone networks) but they have influenced culture in so many ways in the last 10 years! That is unreal! From ipods to the invention of the podcast! Which is a rebirth of radio! And, there is no other company out there that has really taken technology and merged them with art. Apple is sexy and almost every other tech company has failed on look and interface. PC is a loosing breed.
What about Flash support? I hope they strike a deal with adobe to add flash to safari, if they do add flash along with 3g then the phone would finally be complete with everything needed.
Would you be able to sent one text to multiple addresses with one send click?
I was hugely dissappointed to find out that the iphone doesn't support a wallet feature inside the phone, blackberry have it, so do nokia and sony ericsson, it is one of the key features that i look for in a handset, in case some are wondering exactly what the wallet feature is, within the phone it is a password or pin protected file in which you can keep your pin numbers, account numbers and other passwords, basically private information, I phoned apple and asked them and they said the only thing they have at the moment is the key lock feature on the phone which is unlocked via a pin number, which you can set to automatically lock every minute, this would mean i would have to type my pin in everytime i want to use the phone which is a pain, like the other phones in the market, apple really needs to add this feature in the iphone, it is a big selling point for me personally and i would of thought for some others out there.
June cannot get here fast enough

As a percentage, rate the validity/accuracy of these rumors? i.e. price-85% sure. As with the nature of any rumor, we must keep in mind it is just that, rumors. Apple blows...until June!!!
